I have had a Boss TU-2 for years. It has got to the point with it that I tune one string and the rest by ear because the guitar was never in tune using the boss. I have 13 ish guitars that are all intonated by a professional. So, I was under assumption it was not the guitars fault. I tried different picking techniques while tuning, light picking heavy picking, neck pickup, less volume, more volume, finger picking. It really did not matter, the guitars were never really completely in tune.

I was informed of the Turbo Tuner by Sonic Research. It tracks instantly. Is true bypass and actually tunes the fucking guitar perfectly. Should have bought one a long while ago. I am a Nazi when it comes to having my guitar in perfect tune. My guitars, for the most part, are all a half step low and then drop the d to C#. Maybe this was wreaking havoc with my boss, not sure. The Turbo tuner has no issues with the slightly lower tuning. I am so freaking happy with this thing.

Bought it direct from Sonic Research $129.99. Free shipping and arrived in 2 days!!

If anyone is on the fence about one don't hesitate. It is a huge relief restoring my trust in a tuner.

Heard nothing but good things about these tuners. It's between this and the TC Poly Tuner for my next board right now. I use the TC Poly Tuner app on my iPhone every day!

Best tuner I have ever used. I bought one as soon as they came out and still use it. I would like to get the pedal though. Intonation is a breeze with this tuner.

Right on Casey. I had contemplated the TC Poly as well. It looks like they are pretty close. The TT may be a touch more sensitive. I like the TT display better.

Another good reason to own one. I can intonate myself now.

A few men here can verify your hype as legit, there are protocals you need to follow once you post of something new. Your review needs to be reviewed by a small group and once they have reviewed they will make the statement........

who has time for all that? just buy it and live happily ever after.. no affiliation btw just a anal mutherfucker..

from what I've seen, a buncha HCAF dudes bash it and just say the Boss TU-2 gets the job done.

that is not the case. The TT was the best investment and best impulse buy I've ever made.

I love mine! Best thing is you can keep it plugged in-line all the time, and it doesn't use the battery unless the tuner is ON. So it stays in my signal chain always at the ready!

I sold my Peterson Strobostomp to buy this. It tracks notes better, but the Peterson had more functionality. A worthwhile investment, for sure.

I was curious if it would kill the battery leaving it plugged into the chain. Thanks for clearing that up. Battery should last a really long time then? I planned on bringing an extra 9v power supply to practice, guess I don't have to now.
