I'd rather not have A/C and Florida go back to the way it used to be. Citrus, fishing, sponging, ranching.Dont know where you are, but here in fla, we are bathed in it year round.
Its not an option.
I like it for the humidity control. My guitars do too.
I used to live for those three sweaty weeks in summer up in MN. Go to the bar and have drinks and listen to music till late, walk or longboard home, and sleep on the roadside if necessary. There was a comfortable country overpass about halfway between town and home I would sometimes stop at and drink a beer after work. I hate the weather there the rest of the year.Got a call Monday morning from the HVAC company I've been using for the last 15 years. They wanted to come over and "service" my central air unit. I've never had central air.
I just sit in a pool of sweat and drink Maxwell House Breakfast Blend.
Yeah, I hear ya.I'd rather not have A/C and Florida go back to the way it used to be. Citrus, fishing, sponging, ranching.
I'm in TX and have split the last 20+ years in TX and FL mostly. I've lived in FL without A/C. I don't actually like A/C very much. I only run it cause the wife will whine about the heat. If you gotta pool out back and a couple good fans it's easy to manage but a lot of modern house layouts and community plans are set up based on having A/C so there is that.
We grew up in house w/o AC, lots of folks did.
