Back when I got the VBF pedals from Uncle Waynzo aka @griff10672 I told him I'd eventually post up some clips so now seems like a good time. Huge thanks to Unc for helping me with the project. I think @mentoneman has the same box with a different name so unless I'm mistaken maybe he can offer some thoughts on it if he's feeling like a G Brohtato lol. In other news the Calibrated T-Type neck pickup is now my all time favorite.

Griffing analog Vonbonfire deluxe blue side TX edition, Griffin Analog's pultec EQ, and Spaceman meridian engaged

Same pedals, bridge pickup lead fun starts at 5:10

Look at this guy .......... you can't sing and play like that unless you're wearing your Santanas

Glad you're making great use of the pedals !!! They sound great !

VBF Deluxe+Pultec EQ=win

I can probably dial it in a little more I just been waiting until my music corner is set up since the house is in disarray. Still not 100% sold on the T Type bridge. I kinda like the '57 in the Edwards, it's fatter, plus I have a Lollar DB that rips in an LP that I'd like to try in the ES but doing pickup swaps through an f-hole= 🤮

Kickass tunes and kickass toanz!

Killed that shit. Plus with your strap on the wrong shoulder… now that’s gangster….
How can it be the wrong shoulder since it was on the right shoulder?

I thought you was supposed to carry it like an old mailbag?

What is the spaceman meridian?
It's modulation pedal that does flanging, chorus, doubling, etc. It's set for doubling in those clips, it's turnt on, but it's so subtle you wouldn't notice it until I shut it off.

The first video at the beginning I like how you stepped back and got ready to rip and I believe that gibby started to feedback…sounded killer….

Yeah, that last bent-up note caught the feedback genie!

That T-Type neck pickup just rips. Clarity, and picks up all the details of my picking hand. Sings and goes to feedback at the perfect time with that rig. Def beats the '57 classic in the neck for me.

@7704A might like the EV Force 12 action in these clips. Amp is just short of 8 on the volume knob so we are talking 120dB there...

Man, I want to snag a set of those pickups. Schenker's signature guitar has "T-Top" pickups. I wonder if they're the T-Types just re-named or are they different, I wonder?

I think they are the same "Calibrated T-Type" that's in my 335. I'm pretty happy with them, especially the neck. It has the clarity the 57 classic sometimes lacks and I kind of like how easy the unpotted pickups go into feedback mode. The extra sensitivity is nice. Undecided on the bridge pickup though. The 57 rips in the bridge and I'd still like to try the DB in there sometime....

Tone chasin' can be a real pain in the ass. LOL

I am glad you finally posted your music here, so people can know how great you play. Im tired of telling them that you are a badass
Thanks friend. It's funner to hide it from them and let you tell tall tales about me to people who don't give a shit anyways haha. Besides they will be disappointed that I had neither tan pants nor a bowling shirt on in the video.

You gotta tell jose, ed, and your brother that I said hi also. Great guys you play with
I will. I already told them you're going to pulling security detail for my band in early June. I know you already put in for time off. Jose is getting good at playing at high volumes since I'm giving him the opportunity. Dude is a king of rhythm, it cracks me up. He's been a great asset to the band. I'm a fair handed band leader and told him look, either get a 335 or I'll get someone who will. Did you see his guitar?
