Nice phrasing and vibrato. I didn't see any shoes ?
Back when I got the VBF pedals from Uncle Waynzo aka @griff10672 I told him I'd eventually post up some clips so now seems like a good time. Huge thanks to Unc for helping me with the project. I think @mentoneman has the same box with a different name so unless I'm mistaken maybe he can offer some thoughts on it if he's feeling like a G Brohtato lol. In other news the Calibrated T-Type neck pickup is now my all time favorite.
Griffing analog Vonbonfire deluxe blue side TX edition, Griffin Analog's pultec EQ, and Spaceman meridian engaged
Same pedals, bridge pickup lead fun starts at 5:10
with that kind of tone and finesse .... he was definitely wearing these ... they got a friggin PRS headstock on the soles .......Nice phrasing and vibrato. I didn't see any shoes ?
Thanks mentoneman. How are you liking your Gladio clone? I've been waiting two days for you to tell me you get way better tone out of yours than I do mine.excellent display of wood touching right there Veebs![]()

This means a lot coming from a guy who gets sweet tones from a seriously killer looking JAMES TYLER GUITAR.@VonBonfire on fire. Thanks for sharing.
You got that uncle Waynzo attention to detail. Thought you were kidding and then I looked closer. Those are must haves this Christmas season. When I throw up in my mouth a little but still end up keeping a pair in the closet next to a big bag of mini toggles I have no use for.with that kind of tone and finesse .... he was definitely wearing these ... they got a friggin PRS headstock on the soles .......![]()
The one Pat @mentoneman had didn't work out for him unfortunately ...... I modded his a little differently and he ended up having oscillation problems with certain setups / amps ...... it now sits on my " proto type " shelf ..... I guess I could mod it back to the same as yours and re sell it ... but it slays into my Fillmore 50 and as long as I don't go to hard with the gain ..... it behavesThanks mentoneman. But for real I dig the pedal, especially the right side. Share with me all your settings.
Thanks Stephen. The Carlosby Carlos Santanas will probably have to wait until Christmas since Gibson, Guitar Center, and uncle Waynzo stole all my money last year.

I'm interested to know how it was modded differently? I know Pat is def a higher gain player than me though vs most modern blues guys I use more gain. I need the sustain but try to keep the pedal gain as low as possible to work in conjunction with higher amp volumes. The one Pat @mentoneman had didn't work out for him unfortunately ...... I gave it more gain ..... I sent it to him to try with the option to buy .... to be honest .... he didn't need it .... he sent me three or four Dumble-esque pedals to check out ..... all were absolute killers including the BEAST ... his EthosI'm interested to know how it was modded differently? Dishwasher safe…fart sniffer

I guess that's nice but my own criticisms of my playing are harsh. The vids were decent but were not me in my very best form. I wanna hit that Lucky Peterson bar. This is the year where I make myself worthy of those CarlosOne thing about it… folks now know that your legit bwah…. You bring it….
No ... I don't have a schematic for the Ethos ......... they go for almost a grand now i think ... last one I saw was 750 on GC ... it's a KILLER Pedal . There was another that he sent me that I really really liked too ... it put sparkle on your clean tone without coloring that I could notice ... it had flames on it .... was definitely by a boutique builder ... @mentoneman which one was that ??So....can you get the schematic for that?
I know those are well loved and it was one of the better pedals I've heard demo'ed online. TBH the Royal OD was my favorite, the Ethos, the Gladio and Gladio SC, and the Rockett HRM v2 (was surprisingly really badass for a more affordable unit) were among the best I heard.
I love the way the Ethos and Royal OD have a full EQ built into them, which was part of why I had been interested in those because my amp EQ is pretty limited i.e there is no further way to fine tune it. The Pultec solved the issue but I'd still like to try a Royal OD sometime but they are also around a grand. At this point I don't think there is much to gain from it. I'd rather have some new CarlosNo ... I don't have a schematic for the Ethos ......... they go for almost a grand now i think ... last one I saw was 750 on GC ... it's a KILLER Pedal . your pedal was great sounding and tons of thoughful features. liquid lead feel and seemed voiced a bit tighter and brighter than the ethos. but as stated with *my* rack rig, right when i dialed it into the sweet spot i wanted the legato feel to it sit at for the fusiony lead tone i was after, it was on the cusp of a microphonic type squeal i fought with that i didn’t experience with the ethos.I gave it more gain ..... Were you using the blue side, the green side, or a mix of both? I've taken a liking to the more open sounding tones of the blue side. What pickups was in your axe? I too love the legato feel, my picking hand was born with fewer IQ points than my fretting hand.your pedal was great sounding and tons of thoughful features. liquid lead feel and seemed voiced a bit tighter and brighter than the ethos. but as stated with *my* rack rig, right when i dialed it into the sweet spot i wanted the legato feel to it sit at for the fusiony lead tone i was after, it was on the cusp of a microphonic type squeal i fought with that i didn’t experience with the ethos.
my rig is very finicky with pedals especially when combining with already slightly overdriven tones. your atomic punk od sounds killer with the rig but other popular ods i’ve tried in that same spot were ghastly and phasey.

Yeah the Ethos is a beautiful unit. Look at all them mini toggles! If you ever get your hands on a schematic lemme know, I could probably be real happy with a single channel model.I gave it a little too much juice...... that Ethos is a serious piece of gear !
the mix sounded best to me but i did try soloing either side too. as Wayne mentioned, if i didn’t have the Ethos i could’ve hung onto it and made it work, but i already have that box checked with a very mighty weapon. Were you using the blue side, the green side, or a mix of both?
