Not a fan of most any of the actual clips I have heard of it, especially for heavy tones. Would like to try one for myself but for $1200 I'd go elsewhere as I already have it's closest direct competitor.

I'm interested but yeah, serious lack of anyone recording metal with these things. TONS of reviews of guys playing Fender strats thru Fender amps

Just watched Fluff's vid. He did a heavier type track but still not digging it. Again, I know UAD makes great stuff but they don't even have a V30 cab available. There is also no new cabs or mic's on the forseeable horizon for it. Confirmed by UAD folks.

I saw his vid too... was hoping for some tight metal riffs of some type... even he focused more on cleans

This +1000000000

Tried it... didn’t like it. Maybe if I played blues, country, or jazz. No 4X12 models with V30s? WTF? No popular 4X12 models? And my TN Reload sounds better for a straight up attenuator. No thanks.

Not having at least one V30 cab was a HUGE oversight.

Meanwhile I'm enjoying this bad boy in my lil' studio:

Been crankin' my Savage 60 for the past week or so. Sounds glorious!

Oh and through.... IR's of 4x12's with V30's! Take that, UA!

For a price like that, it seems its aimed at the TGP blues demo.

yup, 'dem tan pants dentists/lawyers with more dough than skills to show.  :gay: :checkthisout:

Tan pants and docksiders required... I'm sure several well heeled blues players keep them aboard their sleuth for late night jams...

Yeah the heavy stuff at the beginning seemed a bit mushy and not at all like what I hopes to hear. I’ll stick with the Torpedo Studio.
