I've been to Perth a few times and love it there. A lot different from the shithole I live in in so many ways. Glad you enjoyed your stay; there's a lot to like.

The point of my post was that I haven't shilled for either side of politics since I got the mod job, but rather, simply contributed facts occasionally that I thought were pertinent if not already-mentioned. If I'm ever shown to be wrong with any sort of credibility, I admit fault faster than you can say Danno.

I remember years ago on many occasions here saying that I could listen to Tulsi all-day. She was a Dem back then. As I often like to preach, it's IMHO best to hear all sides and for good measure to place yourself in others' shoes.

The fact that I've chimed in with facts related to the Republicans more than the other side is probably primarily 'cause there's been so much happening on the right there. I've never seen so much "action" in politics and I doubt many have. I'm guessing this is one reason why so many around the world now take a keen interest in the goings-on over there. It's always been a lot of folks, but the amp has been turned up to 11.

In addition to that, following politics down here in Oz is worse than watching paint dry. Seriously, I cannot overstate how dead-boring it is. It's literally a sleeping pill.
