V-Amp 2 settings?

Hey guys, I just bought a used V-Amp 2 to fuck around with since it was so cheap. I owned one a long while ago but don't really remember much about it. Just wanted to see if anybody has some good heavy rhythm settings for it? I was planning on running my OD808 in front of it, I've heard that works well with modelers? Any other tips or advice?

Try this one... Mike Gilbert recorded Lucretia by Megadeth and the guitars sounded pretty sweet.

The settings I used on the V-amp:
Rhythm tracks
Model: Modern high gain
Drive:1
Cabinet: 15
Gain: 1 o'clock
Treble: 1 o'clock
Presence: 1 o'clock
Mid: 2 o'clock
Bass: 10 o'clock
reverb: type 2 at about 9-10 o'clock (even though the reverb isn't very audible at this low of a setting, it makes rhythms sound a little warmer)

Lead tone
Same settings except for...
Mids: around 2-3 o'clock
Bass: 12 o'clock
Reverb: 10-11 o'clock

Oh yeah.. Dark Tranquillity has Niklas and Martin's V-Amp patches available for downloading on their bio pages

They run their V-Amps in the effects loop returns of their gigging amps, I believe, so I don't know if it'll work for ya.

I figure I'll give it a shot. I see lots of guys using a boost with a POD. Have you ever tried that?
