They do sound like nothing else out there.
They do have a some of the quality of other amps tho... like the fast attack of an old 70s Hiwatt, the low end and the note/chord clarity of a Hermansson, clean headroom of a Twin Reverb, chug low end of a Cameron CCV, while at the same time not sounding like the amps mentioned. And it'll never sound muddy.
