Varius Guitars?

The Logo is pretty awful. It looks like random fridge magnets dropped on the ground. Im surprised the S isn't backwards to make it seem like a cute 4 year olds fathersday card.

Now that my snarkyness is fulfilled. When trying to sell cross culturally Logos really need to be focus grouped. I can't imagine an English speaking/writing company would be hugely successful making a Korean logo without a lot of effort.

Anybody remember the Penis shaped headstock's from Namm 2016?

Yeah, you kind of went way out there on that one dude. So you don't like the logo, insult it, then talk about penis headstocks... Well, perhaps in the future you might want to have something worthwhile to contribute instead of forum pollution.

They have a lot of features, well appointed. But have to agree that headstock is pretty out there. James Tyler makes some amazing instruments, but plenty of people hate his headstock. I like the Tyler better than this. I also know for sure Tyler guitar will be stellar, these guitars are still an unknown. more the logo than the shape, which looks very similar to Suhr. Thanks for bringing these to our attention, let us know how they are. Several us of are not that interested because of the aforementioned headstock. If I don't like the look of a guitar I have never played, taking a chance on a new product, why would I buy it? Balaguer already makes guitars in the same range, and some others, are a known guitar. People hate the headstock on my Heritage guitars, I don't care I like them. Why do you care if others like them or not?

Give an honest opinion, get a personal attack.

Here's my honest opinion: The guitars are well spec'd and look well made, but I'd be surprised if anyone would like the headstock or logo. I don't mean any personal offense to the OP, opinions are exactly what he asked for.

No doubt. The headstock makes it look like the guitar came from Sears or something.

I guess you can expect to get Varius opinions about them though.

Lord have mercy, dude. You really need meds, or something. I happen to agree that the headstock is a little bit whack, and the logo looks kinda juvenile. You've been the resident expert on "forum pollution" of late, and really set the standard. You start 10 threads a week, all looking for some sort of acceptance, and it's 50/50 that somebody will disagree with your views, and you fly off the handle when somebody does. Relax, buy what makes you happy, and stop looking for everyone's approval. Nobody really cares anymore.

Apparently they have other models not listed on the website. Maybe some Korean retailers might have them on their websites.

as far as i know, they mainly sell through the website or their own off-line shop in korea.
they don't have not much retailers... maybe one or two except themselves?

i believe the most of models are on the website.
but if you looking for something different, they are very flexible to build a custom guitar.

What factory is it? Are they independent, or do they do Schecter/ESP??

I've had a couple Schecters from Korea, and an ESP EC-1000, and 2 ESP LTD Alex Skolnick sig guitars, and they were VERY nice. Especially the Schecters!

Back to the fugly headstock - if you look, it looks like a 70's style Strat headstock, with a cut out on the rounded part.

Finally we get some actual discussion posts. Yes, these are questions I'd like to know too. There is a Korean manufacturer who makes Gotoh style tremolos and tuners which are said to be VERY good products, but a little bit cheaper. I don't know if they have anything to do with manufacturing these guitars, but Korean manufacturing can be great. At one point, a lot of companies moved to China because South Korea got a little greedy and it was no longer profitable to manufacture there. This, however, seems to be extremely well made - and as I said, I've heard they're trying to compete with Suhr which I hear now makes in China. Anyone know if that's true? Is Suhr manufacturing in China now?

World Music is the biggest, (and only) guitar builder in South Korea, (that I know of)... Here's the list of companies they build for:
B.C. Rich
Chapman
Dean
Gretsch
LTD
Line6
PRS SE
Schecter

This Schecter, (in particular), was one of the finest guitars I've ever owned. Rivaled any Ibanez Prestige I've ever owned or played.. Top was insane, Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient pickups, real Floyd, (though probably Korean), ebony board, SICK guitar. They were $900, I paid under $500, as a discontinued. I bought the black one under $400 new..

Awesome man. I love those guitars. I've got my eye on a couple of Schecters. They're using stainless steel frets on some models now. I'm a HUGE fan of Schecter Japan stuff, so I'm glad to hear the Korean stuff is on par.
