Bwahaha....just doin' my part to incite the masses with GASses

If it's any consolation - I can't look at an Orange 4x12 anymore without wondering if it might sound as good as yours...man, that thing kicked / kicks all kinds of ass.

Which of my Oranges did you like better? The one with real greenbacks or the one with real g12h30's? Come to think of it... those old Orange cabs are worth about the same amount as a Hamer Standard

Dude, the Standard was THE most expensive electric guitar on the market in Germany when it came out. I was soooooooooooooooooooooo lusting over it. A few laters I actually ended up buying Adrian Smith's (the on that's on the back cover of Maiden's Killer album).
Was the coolest guitar I ever owned unfortunately it took a hug dive and the neck snapped and it was never the same. So it was sold. BTW, still have a Special with P90s that totally rules.
now that is cool as shit! I've got one of Paul Gilbert's Ampeg VH-4 cabs from his Racer X days

I'm getting GAS now...

WOW! Very cool but bummer about the snapped neck though. My favorite old San Dimas Charvel took that same dive and now it has a Musikraft neck on it.

Yep, that's pretty much it. Just needs zebra or double cream pickups and it's perfect for me.

Coolest shit...I used to use...
the V that Schenker recorded the solos on Love Drive.
Another V that the other Schenker used.
A 76 Explorer from Jabs
A non-reverse Firebird from Jabs
a 71 Super Tremolo from Ray Gomez
a 76 50 watt JMP that came from Schenker by way of Lita Ford
a 72 JMP from Bernie Torme from Ian Gillan's band
Wayne Krantz' BiValve

That guitar was a pride and joy, never got really attached to any other guitar that much after it.

Nope, but I played with his bass player for a short time. :) So I got some of his human refuse I guess. LOL!

I imagine it was. I don't blame you after that.

Was he also a firm believer in whoever happens to be standing closest to a microphone is qualified to be the lead singer? :D

Awesome guitar Rufus. Korina huh? It looks like a brand new Standard is in the $2500-2800 range. I'll probably be looking on ebay for a nice used one.

This is one of a special run of 100 Korina Standards that Hamer did back in '95. Copies of the '58 Explorer. Jason (Argonaut4) has one of them too. Incredible guitars.
Jason's Hamer is SICK!! I LOVE that thing! I really liked mine too, but my neck was a lot bigger than his. More of a 50's D?
