I do believe Dan did serve for at least a couple of years in the armed service; whether it be Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, whichever branch. For that he deserves gratitude. The unfortunate part is he's lied and been so deceptive about pretty much everything else about his service, like you said no one believes him. The continuous random pictures and irrelevant videos just makes things worse for him. It wouldn't take much for him to just be real about his service and most everyone would thank him for it regardless of all the other shit he posts in every single thread.

Ordinarily no, but you've made it to where asking for an explanation is reasonable by using your service to bolster arguments as if it makes you some sort of authority. Between that and the intentional misdirection via various "Video explanations" and inferences to things like serving in Vietnam and implying multiple branches and spec ops shit, you brought it on yourself Dan. You brought up being a veteran here many, many times, but you are very guarded about what type of service that was. Do you not see how that would arouse suspicions ?

He posted a link to his service record about 3 weeks ago. Looks like about a year on an aircraft carrier handling ammunitions if that is the Dan he was pointing us to

Anyway, thanks again for your service Dan if that's what you need to hear. Maybe let this thread wind down a bit out of respect for others. Just a thought. Have a great weekend and keep on woodshedding.
