Vh4- looking to try in Sf Bay Area before I trade for one

I'm in San Francisco through the 3rd of February and I'm looking for a shop or an individual that has a VH4 I can play through. Once I'm back in Texas I have a tentative trade worked out for some gear of mine for a VH4. Im nearly sold on the trade with the only hesitation being I've never played a VH4. (It's going to be a 17ish hour round trip drive to make it happen so I'd like to knock this out while in CA if possible)

Not looking to joy ride or trash someone's prized amp. Just looking to spend 10-20 minutes running through the channels at volume so I can see if it's for me. I've got my own guitar I can bring along. Will repay the favor with lunch/dinner/drinks and good dose of gear chatting. Not opposed to making the drive to LA if it's Saturday or Sunday.

If I still had my VH4 you would be welcome to try it.
 
You definitely will want to play a VH-4 before you aquire one. I owned my VH-4 for about a year before I traded it off. They are very very compressed amps. I never enjoyed playing mine. It worked great in the studio for that specific sound, but I hated how it 'felt'. Just make sure you actually play one in person.

I'm in Burlingame, but the rental car has unlimited miles on it! Would make my Sunday if I could try one out today. I'll shoot you a PM with my number.
