Which one of there two amps would have more cut and brightness(plexi marshall bright).

My deliverance can be as bright as you need no problem.

Bright like plexi(marshall) bright if you know what I mean.

Back in 79 I had 1959 and I think the deliverance can cop alot of its tone and more heavy if needed. Usable master and cleans up well with volume knob or hbe detox pedal. The UL is more modern than the deliverance. The deliverance is fryette,s take on a plexi with more gain.

I think the Deliverance when set "flat" is slightly brighter than the UL set "flat" possibly. However, the UL has all the potential in the world to be "bright" if you'd like, due to the graphic EQ. the graphic EQ is an incredible tone shaping tool on the UL, even more so than the mark IV's by far I think. the Deliverance can get bright as well, they are just different "flavors" I guess....Really comes down to preference.

As fellow Marshall fan and user... I think either of the UL or D120 will be bright enough for you. I've owned the UL and it had plenty of bright, high end cut for my taste. I've only played the D120 a few times, but never left with the felling it was a "dark amp" per se... so either one should be fine IMHO.

The D60 basically sounds like a 2204 with more available gain, bass and clarity and less saturated mids. The Deliverance controls are a lot more respnsive as well

I agree ... the Deliverance is voiced more like Marshall than the UL. Both are plenty bright.
