good cabinet but i really didn't like the stock p50e speakers

also it's a front loaded cab which has considerably less low-end if you haven't had one before

for 300 i'd probably grab it. it's different enough from the run of the mill cabs to have knocking around even if it's not your main cab. for my tastes it wouldn't be my main cab of choice though.

I have one and it's got considerably more low end than my RL EVH 412 while being tighter and more articulate with the same quad of speakers back in forth to a/b. Took me a few weeks to appreciate the difference, but after a/b'ing a bunch the difference is considerable. I actually find the FB to be less directional than the EVH; the FB fills the room more and sounds bigger when playing out to the sides of the cab...go figure.

That sounds like a steal. I paid more than that for mine and bought mine unloaded (no speakers)

I disagree with Spaceboy. The frontloaded cabs I have all have bottom end that’s both bigger/deeper and tighter than my rear loaded cabs, but my rear loaded ones sound to me more organic, warm, wider/less directional, and generally better for anything that’s not metal or hard rock, but defintiely no slouches for metal or hard rock either, just not that same type of tightness or bottom end

I would offer $200 and then replace the speakers if you get it for that.

I had one and ended up selling it because it didn't sound as good as the one the guitarist from my sister band's.

You have to beat the shit out of Eminence speakers to get them to break in.

That said I much prefer the Mesa OS I have now. It's just "that" sound, and after all, Steve Fryette modeled the P50E after the Mesa T4416.

$300 is a good price...especially if in good condition

I'd buy that in a second. I had one and loved it. The Deliverance 4x12 is probably the only cab I've ever owned that I liked better.

That's a good price for a great cab. Replace 2 of the P50Es with either V30s or GK100s in an X pattern. Or replace all with the new Fanes. The cab itself is stellar.

Here in Europe these ones are kinda rare and expensive. I am considering buying one of the older models if I am not mistaken. Its loaded with v30s

Mm weird, I've always found quite a few here in Italy, and never insanely priced, about 400 euros used. Played one, and totally get why they are so appreciated for certain modern genres, but it was too forward sounding and articulate for me, lacked some meat and sweetness, maybe due to the p50 speakers. When people say V30s are too "in your face" sounding , I honestly think they need to hear that cab.
