Would it be impossible to find one for $600? How geared towards hi-gain/modern metal are they? I know there is no FX Loop - I normally like to run my gate in front and in the loop - are these noisy amps? Please assist - thanks!

I'm thinking $700-750 will be the lowest you'll find. They are very quiet as well, you wouldn't need the noise gate in the loop.

600 would be REALLY hard...I HIGHLY doubt youll find one for that price. I sold mine for 850 after owning it a week and paying 1k for it. They are not noisy.

$750 plus ship is the absolute lowest I have ever seen and I have been watching for a few years.

It was from Guitar Center used section, and these are very geared towards high gain/brutal/modern metal. I want one badly :)

edit: I dont give a shit what anyone says you do not need an fx loop with VHT amps.

I have a pitbull 100 and every item I put in the loop did more harm than good.

Maybe a reverb pedal? Put it in front if its a must.

I got the Pitbull over the Deliverance because of the FX loop, only to find I will never use it ever. fwiw

Well just to show how much tastes differ, I just got rid of my UL on Sunday, and I thought the FX loop was the best thing about the amp

I used to have a 50/CL... a bit better, but not by much (according to me, of course)

ya, ive nver played the 50cl or the UL.

All I know is my pitbull 100 and the fx loop not being needed at all.

I play metal so maybe thats why. But I must ask what would you ever put in the fx loop?

I tried an eq, a compressor, overdrive, and my peavey deltafex which actually was the only useful thing in there.

The tone was so good to begin with all that other stuff made it sound worse..

I can see maybe reverb, delay, ect for adding fx to the clean tone or whatever.

Gotta have delay! Sounds especially good with the parallel loop.
If you play metal, you probably want to keep it pretty dry, so everything else can be plugged in front, indeed

I've been watching out for D60/D120 as well... You won't get it for below $750 unless you get lucky. Average price is $800 to $1000.

I just played a Deliverance Sixty 2x12 and was not that impressed. The Blackstar Series One I played after it blew it the fuck away!

I just threw up in my mouth a little!

Never played a combo but Deliverance 120 and Deliverance 2x12 cab sounded massively good for everything from classic rock to melo-death.

Sure it's a shared EQ amp but it is the one amp I judge all others by. NEVER had a bad sound out of it.

I just wasn't blown away like I was expecting to be. I played the Blackstar on a whim and it sounded killer. Opinions, taste, etc.

Was it at GC?
