Ultralead/CLX or KR7 for tight heavy rhythms?

Seriously, how many amps have you had? Is it over 100? I have only had maybe 12 tops, and that is still a good handful.

I have had 3 Riveras and in my opinion, just about the only way to get rid of the high endy thing that you are talking about is to open up the master. Rivera's are some of the best amps that I have ever used and have the best clean channels hands down. Only problem I have with them is that to get the gain tones you have to turn them up louder than all hell. They do react very well to dirt boxes pushing the clean channel however.
