Hello, I have a pedalboard I'm planning to create for amp-less use going to FOH for small shows (optional cab with the powered speaker out of the Duchess), as well as direct recording without using an DAW plugins.
There's a screenshot at the bottom for reference.
Here's what I was hoping could be the signal chain:
Guitar > Tuner > V4 Countess In
V4 Countess Out > Keeley Katana > V4 Duchess In
V4 Duchess FX Send > Eventide H9 > V4 Duchess FX Return
V4 Duchess Line Out > Cab M Line In > XLR Out to FOH/DAW
Here are my questions:
1. I would like to use the XLR out of Cab M so I can go straight into the PA (placing last in my chain), however I was hoping I could place the H9 in the FX return of the Duchess preamp and then go from the Line out on the Duchess into the Line in on Cab M. If I was to use power-amp modeling on Cab M, would I see any distortion on the H9 effects? Or should I just not use the power-amp modeling at all to be safe?
2. Are there any foreseeable issues with the routing above?
I believe in my current routing, the H9 effects (mono) would be pre-Cab M and I know it's recommended to place delay/reverb after Cab M.
