Vinnie Vincent wants 2 million for his new album... LOL

Vinnie Vincent is the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.

Oh, wait.

Snark aside, you know how expensive things are getting? There are employees at companies that get more money than that a month. Heck, people drop $50-100k at bars in a single night.

If he spends it on hookers and blow, he'll be broke again in no time.
Hookers and blow will try to suck you back in . Fuck coke . Unless you snort it off the hookers don’t do it .

He was killer on Creatures of the Night and Lick it up. I'm sure Paul, Gene and their producer kept Vinnie reigned in. Most of the songs on the first VVI record were great, but it was overproduced...waaaay too slick and his methed out solos just killed that album.

Yeah, I know, man. It's just the funniest thing I ever heard about some lottery winner.

One day I’m gonna hear the “impressive” VV guitar work. The way some people talk about him I’d think it should be easy to find. Nothing yet…

I like this song and the solo is pretty damn good even if a bit erratic . Solo starts around 2:20 and outro at around 3:40

^ I respect your opinion bro - but that was unlistenable for me. The solos, although very technical, did nothing for me :dunno:

IIRC - I liked a few songs off that first album of his but not enough to listen to it again.

It has an interesting song structure, although I cannot for the life of me tell what notes or scales he's actually using when he starts blazing away. Some crazy chromatic lines on speed I suppose?? :ROFLMAO: I will say I have never heard anyone play like him that's for sure.

I saw VV Invasion back in the 80s when Mark Slaughter was fronting. Vinnies tone was the loudest, shrill and piercing thing I have ever experienced. It was painful. :bleh:

Thats how I felt at the early G3 tour where Yngwie opened up with like 20 Marshall stacks and they all seemed like they were plugged in and with that strat his tone was like a high end screaming , screeching sound that killed my ears. I couldn't put my ear plugs in fast enough :ROFLMAO:

This was a small venue, 1K or so, standing room, so the PA and the stage volume just decimated you.
