HI Guys , I'm new to the forum how are you all, i would like some info i recently purchased the vox ac15c2 and now i have it home i can't get it to sound anywhere as clean as it did in store , can anyone help me out with some settings , i am a rookie at this but am enjoying learning.

The first thing I would do is check to make sure all the tubes are seated well. Sometimes one can come loose in transit and it messes up the tones. Otherwise turn up the master volume and turn down the other two volume controls. At 15w it won't have a ton of clean headroom but there should be plenty for a bedroom player/small venue. If you needed more volume without dirt you can try changing preamp tubes from what is in there to a less potent option. There are probably 12ax7s in the preamp, you can look at the manual and see which ones run which channel and trade them for 12ay7, which are compatible but not as high output.

I have a nt15 and the bright channel is not far off from the ac15, there's plenty of cleans if I turn down the gain (channel volume on yours) and turn up the master.

Did u use same style of guitar and pick ups at the store-vs-home?
