along with a healthy dose of kneejerk reactionism from someone who doesnt have a clue about the area...

You don't have to know about the area, just take a good look at America and what's becoming of it from all these foreigners and illegal immigrants. On top of that, take a look at that crowd... what do they all consist of? Maybe the people in the front were getting crushed by the people in the back and it was really just a stupid accident, which proper crowd control might have avoided. Or maybe there were people there just trying to get toys that they couldn't afford for their kids, because perhaps they were less fortunate than me. I guess since I don't really know exactly what happened unlike you Cloud, I'll just have to be sorry for all involved and not judge - but I guess that's just me.

I've lived in the US for over a year now and while there is some truth to stereotypes in any country I've met tons of great people down here and to try and generalize about a population that is actually just as varied if not moreso than Canada's (I'm from Vancouver) is retarded. The more perspective I get from living down here the more I like it and understand it on a personal level.
