Walked into a plate glass conference room wall today... Pic!

... at a high rate of speed. I walk fast what can I say. I remember thinking, " Hmmm... wasn't the door over to the right a bit more..." BOOOM! Smashed into it right over my right eyebrow and was immediately in massive pain.

I needed to grab some ice for it immediately, but as I was walking over to the refrigerator in my office, I noticed blood pouring off my face... Oh well...

Straight to the hospital... 21 stitches to close the gash over my right eyebrow... tetanus shot... Sent me back to the office with 1 500mg hydrocodone... my head is killing me right now...

Conference room glass wall still intact... :(

We all wish our newest amp builder/designer a speedy recovery.
Sorry to hear that..i wrecked on a bicycle and have had a cast on my left wrist/ hand for a month. But i ahve still been teying to play.
Hope your head feels better soon.

If it wasn't for the injury there is some humor there, can relate myself with my history of blunders. :lol: :LOL:

Oh, yeah, for sure. I feel like an idiot and there is definitely humor here...

The funny thing is that on Saturday, I was watching "Ridiculousness" and one of the videos was a chick walking hard into a plate glass window. I laughed hard... Now.. well... I fell much more sorry for the chick... :doh:

Sounds so stupid and simple, but man, going from a quick pace to dead stop with your face is something else. I remember a friend of mine and I walking down the streets in Victoria at night - no drinks involved - just walking along, gabbing, looking at the sidewalk, chatting... Next thing, SPLAT - he's into a concrete stoplight post. Dude seriously looked as though he'd been roughed up by 3 or 4 barflies the following couple weeks. I mean, it was funny as hell, but at the same time a "holy shit" moment.

Get better soon - and don't be thinking of any "tonal changes" to your amps until you're well healed up.
 
I have walked into a glass door a few times, sometimes its hard to see its their if its super clean and your mind is somewhere else. BAM. does not feel good on the ol noggin
 
1 Hydrocodone? I would have tried to wrangle a few more. They go good with a few beers. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
 
That sucks Steve. 21 stitches means you did a real job. When I read your post the first thing it reminded me of was a bird flying into a window. Last I saw you have no wings. Get well.
