Wouldn't you want a second bass knob on the JJ as well? I find my be and JBE settings to be totally different. More than just a volume difference...

I'm using an MXR 10 band EQ in front of the amp to add a little low end when using JBE.

Good idea, I usually run the bass around 3 o clock on the normal mode, then I usually need to come down to like 9 o clock on JBE, really depends on the cab usuing too though I guess. Started using my splawn cab with v30s which was cool but maybe a bit boomy, I switched to the matching friedman can and haven't looked back!
