Walrus Audio Canvas Volume Pedal

I am a huge fan of nerdy features in a pedal - that being said, none of these swells sounded quite right to me. Not sure what it is. $300 volume pedal.

I like my Peterson Strobostomp Mini. I like those a lot, but I just learned you can upload any picture to the Canvas tuner.

Any picture.

Imagine, you tune with your tuner, and then turn it off, and there's a picture on your board. On the practical side, you can put your set list, or a picture of your wife and kids, or pets, or porn, or a picture of a phase 90... Whatever.

Do I need that? What would you put on your tuner?

I like my Peterson Strobostomp Mini. I like those a lot, but I just learned you can upload any picture to the Canvas tuner.

Any picture.

The tuner looks super cool and I dig the canvas series.

I was trying to see if you can customize the taper, but it seems it's just presets. The lag thing is weird to me. Why would you want a two second delay between your foot and the swell?

I love Walrus but don't really have much need for a volume pedal so I'm not the target audience.
I'll stick to Julia, Lillian, Meraki, ARP, Monument, etc.

Maybe like when people use delayed reverb and the like - you could use this before a pedal that doesn't have that effect built in. That's my only really thought - or if it did kind of eventually slowly sweeps up, even though you sweep up all the way quickly to 'activate' the effect, but IDK if it actually even works that way really in any funciton without having to hold my foot on it and slowly sweep, which I am not certain it seemed good at doing.

I agree with OP that the taper sounds weird to me on those clips. I still prefer the classic EB with the rope but I’ve been using a Mission for about a decade now.

They have a setting for the EB on the canvas. I wonder how much they sound alike.
