I'm not a reverb guy. I've tried so many, and just don't jive with em.
That's changed.
The Walrus Fundamental Ambient was love at first play. It essentially does what I set up the Strymon Dual delay to do: add atmospheric background depth, without stomping on my sound.
It can be the glue that ties everything together, or a lush "pad" to play over.
I played it for a couple of hours straight out of the box without touching the setting, everything in the middle. Volume swells and a looper with the Ambient set like this can keep me entertained for days.
@scottosan turned me onto a setting that sounds like a great studio plate reverb for just a dash of spacial effect.
Freaking love it. Going to be a permanent fixture on my pedalboard.
Highly recommended.
