Yep, its a really nice neck in a hard to find straight radius. I was going to shave / reshape it but decided on a reverse headstock instead
Yeah the straight 12 radius, short scale is a great combo. I got this thinking I was going to shave it down but decided on a reverse headstock, and honestly got cold feet about wood work on roasted maple since its really prone to tear out / chip out.
Smart move. Better to let another love it the way it is than risk jacking it up. Be sure to post your new neck once it arrives. Warmoth makes some really nice stuff. Feels great in the hand.
It’s going on this…from a geek perspective I think a regular maple neck / rosewood neck will look better too, but that could change in an hour
