Good to you back Ralph. Great to see that you liked the Mark V and from the videos it seemed the guy who was knob twisting was a little green. Well, it seemed like it anyway since he was constantly touching the knobs but not actually changing the tone.

That guy did not have a clue as to what he was doing but I could tell that the amp was a winner especially if you like the Mark series amps. I heard it a few more times after I played it and it definitely has potential!!

I would have loved to do that and Im sorry I didn't get to make it back. I got pulled into so many different directions that it made it impossible to get back. That seems to always be the problem with NAMM! It was great chatting with you though and I had a blast !

We did check out the Pebble people in Solvang! It was full of music boxes and beer mugs!! Killer store and I love that town! I got your message and then my phone died on the road and I didn't recharge it lol

I'm surprised you didn't end up with one of the cool little guitars (like mini-cannot play small) they have there. I dig all those little thingies they have there... the cool flamed/quilted maple boxes, cookoo (sp?) clocks, mini-guits... I'd like a room filled with useless trinkets.

the only thing that I can add to the MKV is that I need to try it again for myself because the guy who was at the helm didn't know the amp very well lol

Other then that, I already heard a drastic improvment in the things I did not like about the MKIV

I'm surprised to! I loved that shop and we spent a lot of time in there looking at everything! I didn't buy anything because I was affraid it would get trashed on the plane ride home!

I liked the nuno and I think that they did a great job with it. It reminded me of a hopped up Marshall and although it didn't have boogie gain, it had plenty. Its another amp that I would like to try again at some volume. I think it would kill with a little volume behind it and it would be stupid with just a hint of a boost in front
