got my card in April. did it online.
some bonehead Indian doc who i barely understood called me within a few minutes and it was all done.
since then a dispensary opened on Long Island. But lines are way too long. Plus its a 15 minute drive

the state place is 2 blocks from my job. i click in an order and they have it waiting for me at the door in 5 minutes.
very convenient and easy. well worth the $100 fee

Even though I rationally know weed is legal over there I still find it weird that you can get it legally

well it's cheaper than buying street. and I'm only interested in occasional use so I just think getting my card is the best idea. they have wanted to put me on heavier stuff and I refuse. i have seen firsthand what fuckin pain pills can do....not interested. however I have also seen what weed can do....it usually makes dumb fuckers dumber and lazy pricks lazier.....

I had my card in NY, thru my doctor.
Didn't cost me anything but the appointment copay.

However, just to hit a dispensary it was an hour drive.
Syracuse or Rochester.
Also no bud, just vape.
I'm old school and like to roll, not into vaping.

I've been getting great $100 oz's for a number of years.
Legal stuff then was expensive and a drive.
Once it was going legal in NY, never renewed my card.

And now the different reservations around me all sell, no tax.
20 minute drive.

Since it has been legal, I was in Syracuse and figured Id stop by the dispensary, they now have bud.
My card had lapsed already, and even though legal in NY they still wouldn't sell me any...
