We've not played one week day gig since my first post,.....but we have a gig tomorrow night. What timing for this thread to be resurrected.

I play a lot of shows on Thursday nights now. Get home around 2am, and up at 6am to go to work. I'm usually shell shocked all day. Most of the guys in the band are musicians only, and play in a few other bands when we aren't playing.

I stopped playing for a living 18 years ago, and having to get up after a show the next day is tough. Still worth it though.

I have a gig tonight... blaaaa I'm going to be on auto pilot. Up at 6 30 to play hockey before work and then work all day and rush to get my drums setup and then stone face for the show playing $hitty music that I am sick of playing. But I get paid in beer and in cashola pretty decent so i've grown accustomed to whoring myself out and selling out.
