So I'm not sure if this qualifies as a rig or gear talk but I thought it was interesting. Today I was at my local Guitar Center just seeing if they have anything good or interesting a I was trying out a rivera knucklehead tre half stack with a Aria pro 2 RS the amp was right by the guitar counter. This guy walks in with a Santana PRS AD and in the picture Santana is holding his PRS which I don't know how much those cost probably around $2,500 I never really got into the PRS market. The guy says I want this guitar in the picture so the sales associate looked it up it to see if its in the system and then because they're on backorder he calls PRS. He tells him it'll be $3,300 the guy says "oh I didn't think it was going to be that much money." Sales guy says what about a used one how much do you want to spend then the older gentleman goes "I don't know $200 $300 what am I trying to say sorry I mean $2000 I'm not sure because I really didn't think I'd ever be able to do something like this". Then after asking a few more questions he couldn't remember his phone number or what he asked the associate to write down for him so he had information about what guitar he wanted and how much it was. Then he just kind of aimlessly walked around, the the store when I was leaving. My,friend who works there the sales associate he was talking to said he came in and bought a Chad pro3 recently I don't know what that is but could some older people be buying instruments and other stuff now that they're older maybe they have dementia or Alzheimer's or whatever and not know what they're doing and the sales associates are taking advantage of this and not just in Guitar Center but anywhere?
