Packers delivered my stuff yesterday. Dug through everything to find my Marshall to send off to Dave. :) Just sent it off a few hours ago. I have a 1959SLP Reissue that was originally modded by Scott Splawn. I'm having Dave do a Kitchen Sink Mod and adding the Fat Switch and Gain and Master Volume knobs. Should be killer.

By the way, has anyone had the gain and master volume knob mod done to their amp? I'm wondering if you like it, if it adds anything significant to the amp, etc?

Congrats! Too bad you had to sacrifice the Splawn Modded Plexi for it though , those things kick ass and are rare.. I have one too and love it..
Till death do us part, and same with my Marsha

Not sure about the 2nd gain and MV , but I sent my Marsha back to Dave a few weeks ago to have that done and a few other things.. You will love the Kitchen Sink mod.. It just sounds perfect.

Thanks for the info man! Yeah, I'm pretty excited. I wanted a Cameron Modded Marshall for years and had so many opportunities fall thru and I didn't think I would find another amp that had a sound that blew me away. I love my Splawn but it has a certain tone that is outstanding but not as rounded as some of the other modded Marshalls. When I first heard the Marsha (especially some of the clips from the amp shootout), I was like "I gotta have one of those".

When Jerry Cantrell started using two Marshas with his rig and I started hearing other clips of the Marsha, I was convinced I had to move forward on getting that tone. I would have had this thing modded already but I shipped the amp with my household goods when I moved. I was supposed to ship the amp to Dave from Hawaii and just forgot to send it. So I've been waiting. :)

If you get your amp soon with the extra gain and MV, I'd be curious to see how you like it, how much of a change it is, etc. Thanks for the info!
