I'm actually torn between the Hod Rod Deluxe and the Deluxe VM.

I'm after the better cleans of course. If the drive channel is good then it's just a plus

I was actually referring to my Vintage Modern when I said "VM", so unfortunately I can't comment on the Dlx Vintage Modified

Does not matter what the Axe FX does well or does poorly, if you found the tone you like grab it and be happy!

I gigged in an original Indie-type band for a while with a Barber Tone Press, 2 Barber Direct Drives and a BB Preamp feeding 2 HRDs with an Echo Park and Verbzilla in stereo in the loops.

Killer, small, rich toned rig!!
