Holy Smokes. I've spent some more time with this module with extreme EQ settings, bass halfway, mids dimed, treble zero. bass boost on 2, treble boost on zero.
It almost sounds like Shawn Lane's Powers of Ten.
This module has that blooming, noticeable compression that not much else has.

So true about the EQ on it. All of my other modules have pretty mild settings. With the bass boost on 1, bass pot at 12:00, mids at 2:00 and treble at 9:00(!), my Strat sounded like Larry Carlton on the bridge pickup. Presence was 12:00 and density was 9:00 with my amp master turned down to a moderate level.
I almost gave up on my Strat sounding good because the "normal" settings were too harsh and bright. "Don't use your eyes," Jeff says. Good advice. I can see why they describe it as a mix between a Dumble and a Mark IIc. It's very close.
My SG could handle more treble but it wasn't necessary to sound good. So I left it alone. My biggest problem now is choosing what to have in my MOD 100. I need an E2.
