Love my SD-1's but I was intrigued by the Seymour Duncan 805 with the 3 band eq so ordered one of those. should be here today. Then I really wanted to try the Lovepedal Eternity. quite a while ago a guy loaned me one for a recording session and I thought it was awesome. Should have one of those on Monday. Even when we're happy with what we have, GAS never ends.... lol

I plan to get a KoKo V1 when the time is right. I assume it's going to decimate the Maxon. If so I'm going to sell the Maxon and just start buying and selling OD's until I try them all :)

I tried every TS type OD into my 1987. They all pretty much sound the same to me (Duncan 805 included)! Except the Rockett Archer. It's just way more transparent, with a more pleasing mid boost. You should try one.

But, it really doesn't end! The tone quest continues!

I really want to try a Cusack Screamer after all the good things I've read about it. It's all so rig dependent though, my favorite boost/OD with one amp might not be my fave with another amp.

I've had an Eternity for quite awhile. Awesome TS type pedal but breathes a bit more than a screamer. Bar none though, my Barber Direct Drive destroys most of the others I've played, including the Eternity. It bridges the gap between an overdrive and the "amp in a box" pedals. The Xotic BBMB is amazing too. Has the smoothness of the original BB but a bit more bark and more natural sound.

Bogner Wessex is amazing too for very low gain stuff. Archer is killer too. Not a TS though, it's a Klone (basically a KTR)

I love the CS. One of the best out there. Super quiet too.

This. Way more transparent than anything else I've tried. If that's what you're going for.

Archer is great. I am digging the Klone's lately. I have a MojoHand Sacred Cow that does the Klon thing really well. Sounds awesome with the Splawn.

I also love the CS, by far the quietest pedal out there, and the toggle gives you some cool variation. I had the first Cusack Screamer, and it died. I was so bummed because I liked it so much. A fellow forumite told me about the CS V2, and I got it and it rules. The toggle for clipping options id pretty awesome. There are silicon, Schottky, and asymmetrical. Right now I am really liking the silicon. Great pedal and a blast to play!! I have yet to find an OD that I like anywhere near as much.

Best pedal out there i have tried so far

I have yet to have an OD pedal sound the same as the next. They all bring a different texture/color/vibe into the mix. There is no such thing as to many OD pedals. Good for you.
