Has anyone had any experience with them? How did you like them?
I'm looking at the Greenback clone (Green Beret) and the G12H30 clone (Reaper).

I have 2 Green Berets in a Marshall 4x12 with 2 Vintage 30's. It sounds 100x better now. I also have 2 Veteran 30's in my Mojo 4x12 with 2 Hellatone 60L's. That is my go to cabinet for just about everything. I also usually mic up the Veteran 30 for recording.

Thanks

I was talking to a store that sells all 3 (Celestion, Eminence and WGS) and they were saying good things about the WGS.
Especially when comparing a Celestion Greenie (139$ CAD, made in china) and a WGS greenie (89$ CAD, made in USA - so i'm told)

I'm looking at the Greenback clone (Green Beret) and the G12H30 clone (Reaper).

I've tried TONS of WGS and pretty much all of them have been really good speakers. I've tried the Veteran 30...definitely the best sounding "V30" type of speaker I've played. No REALLY annoying uppermidrange hump, or fizzy tone.

FWIW, I have a fair amount of WGS speakers going up for sale.

Reaper, Retro 30, Veteran 30s to name a few.

PM if you are interested.

WGS CL80 is still one of my favorite speakers, and it's number one for taming a stiff, bright cab.

WGS V30 sounded great too btw, but it was still a bit too "v30" for my tastes.

I hear ya Gene. How are you liking the Elite 80s Jason sent you btw? How do they rank up against the WGS CL80 clone? I'm LOVING my Elite 80s w/ my G12T75s. Best combo to date honestly!

I don't know. They're in my office :aww:

I think I'll try an "X" with 75's in my magical Trace Elliot 4x12.
