What’s Old is New Again!

Anyone who has the itch to buy a new pickup, just swap a couple in the guitars you currently own. Throw a dart, spin a bottle, go ‘eenie meenie minie mo..’ doesn’t matter. No two guitars will ever sound alike or react to pickups the same way anyhow. I just did a 3-way switcheroo and it may be wishful thinking, but I am convinced (at least for now) that all 3 guitars sound better with their ‘new-to-them’ pickups.

Agreed - this is just a nice way for compulsive tinkerers (like me) to stop buying new crap!

wishful thinking. many complex equations and wood density tests must be done for proper pickup placement. this takes many days of hard work. playing pin the tail on the donkey doesnt cut it bruh. billy bladez introduced me to a world of complex algorithms, particle physics and quantum mechanics and i am really only starting to understand a proper pickup replacement.
