What are some good Fully Bypassable Marshall Plexi 1959HW Mods?

That should be pretty easy. The Meshuggah is just an 800 circuit with diode clipping. Typical Jose mod type of thing. Ceriatone has a layout you can use on their website.
Awesome I will definitely have to check that out, thank you! How well do you think that would adapt to a Plexi circuit?

Similar ball park as this.

That sounds pretty killer. If I could get a tight chunky sound out of the Plexi I’d be pretty satisfied, but the balance is still being able to go back to full stock when switches disabled. I see the new 1959M01 can get pretty gnarly with a boost too. Definitely seems like the Plexi is a great platform for anything haha, Thanks!

You won't be able to go back to a stock 1959 circuit with this kind of mod unless you literally put everything on switches. It can be done, but it will be a ton of work. The difference between a stock 1959 and the most basic version of the amp in that last video is at least 20 components as well as additional gain control (But that could be hardwired) and master volume, plus a depth control if you want it. Would be easier to switch between a stock 2203/2204 circuit instead.

And IMO, the 1959 Modified amp is silly and overpriced. They implemented very little of what a typical diode clipping Jose mod entails. They did the bare minimum of about $20 in parts and work.
