What are some songs from the 80s-early 00s that really get the crowd going?

I'm considering looking for some local talent to get a band going and play some fun songs that the crowd can get into and sing along with, and drink more. Obviously Stacy's Mom, Life Is A Highway, probably a Queen Song, You Shook Me All Night, What's Up, etc.

This one always got people singing and dancing.

And if you can pull it off the old Do You Feel Like We Do works great.

This is what one of my bands does: 70s-90s
We have 250 tunes Jesus ..it’s work but fun

Love shack is prolly number 1
500 miles. Fucking goofy but dammit
Lights
Shook me all night long
Edge of 17
Sweet child
Rebel yell
Don’t stop believing
Home sweet home
I want you to want me
All the small things
Your Love
Sister Christian
Cum on feel the noise
Rock you like a hurricaine

Inside out
Mr. Brightside
Sugar were goin down swingin
Save a horse ride a cowboy
Fight for your right to party
Teenage Dirtbag

Oooooh yeah, totally forgot about Beastie Boys.

My friend had a band that did this for a while, I may just steal some songs off his setlist lol

Edge of 17 is killer. All the chicks go crazy even the ones with wieners. And what’s going on by 4 non blondes.

I'm in an originals band now but back in the early 2000s was in a cover band. These always went over well:
- STP Crackerman
- Weezer The Sweater Song
- Bush: Machine Head
- Limp Bizkit: Faith cover

My first thought. Of course Mr Brightside and Sex on fire was always a crowd pleaser with my old band. Also we used to play Billie Jean. That was sure to get the middle aged ladies on their feet.
