So I thought I'd share this for two reasons. Discussion/Debate but also because I took the time to document it.
Every Memorial Day weekend KSHE 95 in St. Louis, MO plays the top 500 rock songs of all time. There is NO statistical or empirical data that goes into it. You may ask why if it is going to be subjective like that. They have a select team of local 'judges' that each put in their list and they run those to come up with a final list. If it was more statistically based, it would be roughly the same damn list every year so I get why they don't do it that way.
Also, they tend to throw in local favorites, bands that are coming to town or were just here and bands that may have lost a key player (aka Rush, Van Halen, etc).
What are your thoughts on the list below? Do you even care?
BTW - KSHE 95 is the first and oldest FM rock station west of the Mississippi. 1967.
