What are you guys liking for an Ivy barrier?

Getting sod put in that will border the neighbors ivy and wondering what might be an available border I can put in. I know a 6” depth is optimal to stop roots but wondering what some may have used that worked well.

We've used something like this. I think 6" is going to be too shallow. 10" minimum but 18" is better.

Yes, I own a landscaping business. We just use a flat shovel or pick if the ground is rocky.
