This brings up another idea! Regardless of what color this one ends up,...on each one of your guitars you should put a neat educational graphic and factoid about a different state.

Called the tech Friday to tell him what color to go with, he said it will be back at the guitar shop in a week or so. Going with dark blue transparent on the back with scrape binding and the blue "burst" on the front. Thanks to everyone for your input and ideas. Cant wait to post some pics when it comes back!

Ok the back is done,front should be back to the luthier next week. Now what color hardware?
I'm leaning towards chrome real hard but what do black EMGs look like with chrome rings?
Any thoughts?

I would go chrome hardware, black pickup rings. I'm afraid chrome rings would be a little too much...
