What do you mean by evolve? Regardless of whatever you might claim about an insect or single cell organism (Or virus), it’s an indemonstrable jump to extrapolate that process to the rest of the natural world, including humans and other more complex life forms.
 
Some people these days love to smugly say “Science” to justify whatever it may be that they like to support. Whatever they did to the millennial generation in school really worked. Reddit, for example, is a cesspool of overconfident ignoramuses indoctrinated and reinforced to the point you can’t reason with them. They’re right and they just know it.

Forgive me for not digging too deep into the principles of evolution in a discussion that started with outer space not being real, but there are many types of evolution. “The theory of evolution” often refers to mainly Homo sapiens. It’s the sexy title for it, evolution as a principle could be anywhere from the formation of a new species to a natural resistance to pesticides through breeding
