This is an AC30 boosted by a RAT. If you don't like the 8-string riffing, skip towards the end where there's some brief chugging on the low E and low B strings.
This is closer to what I'm getting from my RATPAK. Are you using the AC30 'normal' channel?

RAT or OCD is usually what I use. Gain low with output unity gain or slight boost.
Depend on the amp I might use very different settings. But this the most typical.
I usually don't use a clean amp with these type of pedals.

What did you think about the clips?
Only thing I have here to listen is a phone. No clips sound good on a phone.

Typically the RAT is used with a clean, point of breakup or slightly crunchy amp.
Run a amp clean or just a slightest of hair and put all the knobs on the RAT at 1 o'clock. That's the way most people used it back in the 70's - 80's.

This is the Top Boost channel.

Mine is a Heritage VOX w/EF86 channel. I haven't clipped the bright cap from the TB side, so all boost pedals get used on the EF86 channel. Did you clip the bright cap on your TB channel? I was thinking about putting the bright cap on a 500k push/pull.

Nope, I love my bright caps; looses too much bite and gain when taking them out for me. That said, the volume is at like 3:00 in that clip, so I dunno how much the bright cap is doing at that point. The normal channel on mine uses just half a 12AX7 and is a bit dark for my tastes.

Sounds good. The Heritage has an additional 130pf cap, along with the 100pf that's on the standard AC15 and AC30. That's what I remember from the drawings anyway. Yeah, I love that TB boost bite myself.
