funny you should mention "Flock"

I still think that guitar tone on "and i ran" is the shit

I saw them live on VH1CR and the guitarist was able to reprodue that funky distorted tone spot on ! (i wish i knew what he was using to get it !)

BTW, the cars are legendary in my book

I was just thinking of this the other day. The first two "presidents" albums are killer. The lyrics are so creative and most of their music just plain rocks. My kids really like some of their stuff, as do I. I just picked up their latest and sadly it's just not as catchy as their earlier stuff.

Totally love that song ....which leads me to my next one....No Doubt. My fiancee and I saw both these bands on tour this summer and they were both REALLY good live. While I'm on the female vocal trip here, I also like some:

I LOVE the soundtrack to the movie Swingers, which turned me on to Big Bad Voodoo Daddy...I never thought I'd like anything like that.

I can appreciate most stuff if its done well though, even music styles I dislike. I will say though, the Jonas Brothers are NOT on that list
