i bet al jazeera will come up next...as how that's where a lot of people are getting their news from, and how "unbiased" and "fair" that news organization is. some people say the same about fox news, cnn, msnbc, etc etc.
i know for sure, without question I HATE LOCAL news around here. i haven't seen a need for this area's local news for 5 years at least, since all they report is this: "we reported it first, so we MUST be right, we MUST have all the facts". which, imho is total bs.
there's always a flip side to it all, isn't there. i remember when the gray areas WEREN'T the standard, and right and wrong was what really mattered. what matters to me, might not matter to you. that's just my perspective. sometimes i care about your perspective, sometimes i dont. most times, i can't be bothered either way. im busy with my life to care much about what or how the politicians of this country are stealing, and robbing and how corrupted they all are. big surprise, and honestly, BIG WHOOP. what do you expect. you think you can CHANGE THAT?
yeah. so did Obama. and that's not even pointin the finger, as some of you might take it. its just my perspective....whether he thought he really could "change" and "hope" his way to a better country, who knows. or, was it just more campaign propoganda to get votes? again, i dont know, i dont care.
getting back to the original post though...it seems quite hypocritical that Morello is so obsessed with fixing our government, when he's wealthy enough to sot in on these protests and be protected by the constitution and the people that are paid to uphold it and his rights to do so....while I, the working man, am busting my ass to pay taxes so these cops can get paid to protect the rallies.....and useless legislators can sit around and harrumph/hypothesize about what the constition dictates regarding these protests and the like.
heres a fuckin newsflash.

if you think you're going to CHANGE something...try starting small...try changing a simple stupid law that says you cant hunt on sunday in pennsylvania...or, some dumb law that says you have to go get a permit to cut a tree down in your own yard.
start there....see where all your "change" ends up.
