I think it would have been killer. He wouldn't have been aspop with his songwriting and he would have been expected to be even more adventurous with the solos than he was with Dokken or Lynch Mob.

What might have been....

Wow, its been decades since I heard that. Forgot Lynch played on that album. I agree, it would have been cool to hear more solos like that one.

you're playing is great but George in Ozzy would have sucked. Lynch pretty much writes the same few riffs over and over so the first 4 Ozzy albums would have sounded exactly the same. I love Georges soloing and some of his rhythm work in small doses but I don't think he has even really grown as a rhythm player since the mid 80's.. he peaked with Wicked Sensation and now his shit is so random (some of its great and some of it is unlistenable)
