What is a stereo input for on a pedal?

I have a Keeley pedal with two inputs and two outputs. I've run the outs to two separate amps but how would I use a stereo input??

For example, you go mono into a stereo chorus and out of the stereo chorus in stereo, then you go stereo into a stereo delay and out in stereo

Ahhh, makes sense. I was picturing two guitars, etc but wasn't even considering thst there would be several effects in stereo in a row which is actually what I'd have. Thanks dude!!
