You know its funny, I did a google search of KKK incidents and mass shootings of all types in Talequah OK all the way back the beginning of the kkk, and their is zero mention of anytime in their history that 12 KKK members were shot in a local newspaper's archives that covered everything that ever happened back then in Talequah, including 12 incidents where one to three people were shot. Seems like your dads killing of 12 of them would at least have warranted one or two lines in a newspaper that covered far less numbers of people getting killed regularly... And each of those killings had quite a write-up on the incident. The incidents included regular people, a few cops, some city officials and kkk members. The killing of 12 people there would have been classified as a massacre, and would have been the largest number of people killed by 1 man in their history..
