Except for PRS I've owned all the different construction types and have always gravitated to bolt on construction superstrat style guitars...

Suhr, Anderson Pro Am, JP6, Ibanez Sabre

All great players.

But nothing takes the place of a Tele or LP.

The one I don't have...

I've had all different kinds - but SSs the most. Probably because you needed that Floyd in the '80s. Not sure it's the best type, but most common for what I do.

Whats funny....in my head...I "THINK" I need the floyd.....but I never use the bar?
I really hate playing with fixed bridges. I play pretty hard and the guitar always goes out of tune on them.
With the Floyd.....just never goes out. Love it.

That's always been my problem with LP's and other gits with regular nuts. I throw them out of tune with my ham-handed playing in a matter of minutes. I need the locking nut to hold it all together.

:uzi: I absolutely loath tremolos. Give me a string-thru super strat or an LP! Booyah!

LP guy but only because I've made mine to my liking.

I hate newer LP's and I'm digging super strats lately.

A few years ago I would've said LP then PRS. Now, I say superstrat and tele are at the top.

Me Too. The most stable bridge for me. Setup takes longer but when you do it for years its not bad. When you're done tweaking and its perfect you don't have to touch it again for a long time. I can pick up a good floyed guitar two weeks later and its still in tune within .02 on my strobe. Vintage two post is cool as well but not as stable as the locking Floyd. They have their place as well with their tone and ringing out. A six post trem for me is a nightmare. No PRS for me.

Les Paul!

And interestingly enough, I totally love ESP Horizons, and they're a TOTALLY different guitar. But every time I have one of my Lesters with me? Feels like home :D

Only played strats and SS. Always wanted to like LPs but never found one I really wanted to buy.

LP fits me best .... but really it depends on what I am trying to do at the time.
