Just curious what Rig Talk thinks
Whats funny....in my head...I "THINK" I need the floyd.....but I never use the bar?Shark Diver":2yo3j3im said:I've had all different kinds - but SSs the most. Probably because you needed that Floyd in the '80s. Not sure it's the best type, but most common for what I do.

I really hate playing with fixed bridges. I play pretty hard and the guitar always goes out of tune on them.![]()
With the Floyd.....just never goes out. Love it.![]()
That's it.Mailman1971":3l3ek7fv said:Super Strats all the way.![]()
Me Too. The most stable bridge for me. Setup takes longer but when you do it for years its not bad. When you're done tweaking and its perfect you don't have to touch it again for a long time. I can pick up a good floyed guitar two weeks later and its still in tune within .02 on my strobe. Vintage two post is cool as well but not as stable as the locking Floyd. They have their place as well with their tone and ringing out. A six post trem for me is a nightmare. No PRS for me.Mailman1971":urzhkqqq said:Whats funny....in my head...I "THINK" I need the floyd.....but I never use the bar?Shark Diver":urzhkqqq said:I've had all different kinds - but SSs the most. And interestingly enough, I totally love ESP Horizons, and they're a TOTALLY different guitar. But every time I have one of my Lesters with me? Feels like home![]()
