I am in need of a multichannel amp that is vesatile and sounds good at low volume. My band plays st very low volume and a need a very clean sound, crunch sound, and a liquid lead sound.

I have listened to clips of the following amps:

Bogner Atma
Friedman Runt
Engl Ironball
Brunetti Pleximan
Boogie Mark V 25
Peavy 6505 Mini

What do you all recommend from the list or other???

A lot of people here dig the mini 5150 IIIs. I've not played one myself though. Clips sound great. It sounds like a 5150 III, pretty much.

I believe the 5150 III mini does not have a clean channel.

I use to have a 50 Watt 5150 III. The blue channel sounded great. Could not get a good clean sound and good sound with shared controls on the clean and crunch channel.

Mesa Mark V or Mesa Mini Rectifier would probably be pretty good choices for ya.

Do you need 3 sounds at the same time?

In regards to the Engl Ironball and Mesa Boogie Mark V:25;
I own both and both have their strengths and weaknesses.

The Ironball has 2 channels, but a footswitchable gain-boost on both channels, giving you 4 different tones.
Plus, the master volume works great, as does the Powersoak (20W/5W/1W/Speaker off). Great sounding reverb on board as well.
Killer high-gain tones and med/gain tones too. While the clean channel is pretty nice, it's not in the same league as the Mesa Mark V:25's clean. Those are THE best I heard in a mini-head.
Given that for the Mesa you'd want the graphic EQ on all the time, that means you have 2 channels, not 3 or 4.

Maybe the Bogner Atma does that?

I like the Panama Amps Shaman. HK Tubemeister 18.

I like the Ironball...

I really enjoyed my Bogner Atma. It took pedals really well, had a very nice clean and crunch tone, although I never experienced searing high gain - unless, of course, when my EVH 5150 pedal was plugged into it: it ripped with that pedal into a 1x12 and 4x12.

I had the all aluminum version and it got pretty warm. The rigid top handle was not to my preference, therefore, I simply took it off. It fit right into a Gator G-Tour Mini Medium road case, too. Super compact little beast.

Not really a "lunchbox" amp per say... More a 50 watt amp in a small enclosure...

Hands down...

Driftwood Mini Nightmare

I ordered a Hughes and Kettner Tubemeister 40 Deluxe.

3 channels, multiple wattage, red box, midi

Owned the TM18, played the TM36...Never missed them after getting the Ironball (and Mark V:25) curious to see how you like it.

For the TM18 there was a EQ-ing trick of running bass and mids maxed, and treble between off and 9 'o clock, as these amps can get pretty fizzy fast.
By the way, just noticed the DROPPED the reverb from the TM36 in the Deluxe 40!

$700 for the lbx2 is outta hand.
Ha! Ha! Try $980 CDN and $830 for the regular LBX. Then add close to another $100 in taxes!
Looking at a used LBX right now for $600!

I am really enjoying the Peavey 6505MH. On the 5 watt setting, it has amazing liquid lead tones and it's not too loud for home use. The direct out for recording sounds awesome when you turn the presence way up. Still gets loud enough for a hard hitting drummer.
